We have experiences with guides in other parts of the country who just tell you where to cast your fly, don't tell you why, and wait for you to hook up. Matt was constantly educating us on where the fish should be, river structure, how to deliver the fly and let it drift for best results, areas to fish on the river, access locations, and how the seasons impact the river.
